Biography
Chris arrived on the WSU campus in the Fall of 1985 after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Madonna University. In 1993, she graduated with a Master of Science degree in Biology from Wayne State University. She has been a full-time employee in the Student Center at Wayne State since 1987. Her love of all things WSU began with positions that involved Student Center administration, assisting student organizations with event reservations, student personnel processing and volunteering at campus events such as Commencement, Late Night Breakfast, Homecoming and many more.
Currently Chris is part of the Housing and Residential Life team coordinating guest, conference and intern housing. Chris shares her passion for WSU with those who are looking for short term stays on campus by acting as a one-stop shop for client needs that may include housing, meeting spaces, dining, OneCard, parking, computing and fitness center services. Outside the office, she enjoys, traveling, baking, cooking and being a community volunteer.
