Biography
Takiyah S. Vincent, the manger for TRIO’s Educational Talent Search, has a passion for creativity and a commitment to educational exposure. She is passionate about cultivating the minds of potential first-generation college students from Detroit.
As a first-generation college student herself, Takiyah obtained a Master's in Education Design and Performance Systems at Wayne State University and is currently pursuing a third Master's degree in both School and Mental Health Counseling with a certification in Rehabilitation Counseling.
Most recently, Takiyah has become student debt free and has taken the personal mission and goal to educate and perpetuate the art of financial literacy, financial aid, and how to make educational dollars work for students. Her vision is to support students holistically, connect the dots that are unclear, and aid in their success.
