Biography
Amanda has served as an academic advisor within the University Advising Center's Pre-Med and Health Science Center since 2016. In that role, she grew the Center's advising services through the development of student programming and assessment initiatives. Amanda's interest in teaching, training and professional development can be seen in her array of professional presentations within the Advisor Training Academy (ATA), the AAC Summit, and at numerous state, regional, and national conferences. In addition, she taught the University's FYS 1010 course from 2018 to 2022 and was among the first cohort of advisors to complete the ATA Fellows program. She will earn a second master's degree, in Learning Design & Technology, upon program completion in December 2025.
